Accounting Assistant
Job description
The Love Store is looking for an Accounting Assistant to perform daily accounting tasks that will support our financial team. If you have basic Accounting/Assistant experience and are interested in gaining experience in bookkeeping procedures, we’d like to meet you. Ultimately, you will help our Accounting department run smoothly, ensuring transparency and efficiency in all transactions.
Responsibilities
- Reconcile invoices and identify discrepancies
- Audit daily store paperwork for completeness
- Enter employee information into internal databases
- Maintain internal spreadsheets for tracking purposes
- Check timeclock detail for accuracy
- Review and file payroll and onboarding documents
- Handle customer service issues
- Basic HR responsibilities
Skills
- Work experience as an Office Assistant or Accounting Clerk
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and HR procedures
- Excellent math skills and the ability to spot numerical errors
- Hands-on experience with MS Excel and Word
- Organization skills
- Attention to detail
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information discreetly
