We're expanding in the local market and beyond, and we want to add members to our amazing team of Real Estate Accountants in Omaha, NE! Join us in working for one of the area's leading property management companies!
What You Will Do
Lead the charge for excellence in all accounting transactions for some of the best properties in town!
- Assist with processing accounts payable when needed.
- Prepare batch deposits and post receivables to proper tenant accounts in Yardi.
- Maintain cash balances in accordance with client requirements and prepare transfer and funding requests.
- Complete month-end process including financial statements and cash flow statements.
- Maintain monthly recurring mortgage, insurance, and miscellaneous payments
- Review and approve all accounts payable and payment disbursements, tenant database changes, tenant ledgers, and rent rolls
- Assist with annual recovery reconciliations and estimated tenant billing
- Maintain regular and predictable attendance
- All other duties as assigned
What You Will Need
- Three or more years accounting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
- Yardi experience a plus!
