Essential Functions

The Madison Club is hiring for a Receiving Clerk who will assist the Culinary and the Food and Beverage department with ordering and receiving all product. Once product is delivered they will distribute supplies accordingly.  

The Madison Club is open during the winter & spring season, and this role will be for a full time, seasonal need from October 2022 - June 2023. Preferred candidates will have a flexible schedule, be able to work weekends & holidays, and understand that time off requests will not be honored during March or April (key event/ festival months).

Key Responsibilities:

The position requires knowledge of receiving, classifying, storing, distributing and taking inventory of food & beverage, materials, supplies and equipment. Individual should also be knowledgeable in ordering systems

• Performs functions pertaining to receiving and storage of supplies and equipment for the daily operation of the property. 
• May prepare requisitions for stock replacement
• Receives merchandise and verifies accuracy of orders.
• Pack, unpack, count, weigh and measure materials, supplies and equipment upon receipt.
• Check materials received against invoices and notes breakage and discrepancies in quantity or quality.
• Daily use of hand trucks, electric pallet jacks and electric pallet lift.
• Properly rotates and stores merchandise in storeroom. 
• Assists in pulling merchandise from the warehouse using electronic devices.
• Assists in maintaining inventory records for all in-house supplies and equipment.
• Load and unload at the point of pick-up, delivery or distribution when necessary.
• other duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications

Skills and Qualifications:

• High school diploma or G.E.D.
• 1 to 2 years of related job experience. 
• Computer knowledge preferred.
• Knowledge of Purchasing order platform.
• Pallet jack and /or forklift experience preferred.
• Food or Hospitality industry experience a plus.
• Valid driver’s license with clean DMV record. 
• Must be able to communicate in English.
