The Maker Hotel, located in the vibrant community of Hudson, NY, just two hours north of NYC, is seeking to expand its team. DUTIES
- Assist in the coordination and organization of tickets
- Ensure timely and accurate pacing of dinner tickets
- Collaborate with kitchen staff, servers, and management to ensure smooth and efficient operations
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the expediting area
- Monitor food quality and presentation before it is served to customers
- Communicate any special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen staff
- Follow food safety and sanitation guidelines to ensure a safe dining experience for customers
QUALIFICATIONS
-BOH experience in a similar role in a restaurant, hotel, or food service establishment is
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Attention to detail to ensure accuracy in order coordination and delivery
