Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and customer-focused Deli Associate to join our team. As a Deli Associate, you will be responsible for assisting with food preparation, ensuring food safety, and providing excellent customer service in our deli/cafe department.

This is a part time position (24-30 hours a week). Pay is based on experience.

MUST BE OVER 18- Weekends required.

Responsibilities:
- Assist with Kitchen prep (Must be comfortable handling a knife)
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to maintain cleanliness and prevent cross-contamination
- Give support to other employees during the lunch rush
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including sanitizing surfaces, equipment, and utensils
- Washing dishes as needed and throughout the shift
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation of the deli department

Skills:
- Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
- Experience working in a kitchen or culinary environment preferred
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes accurately
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
