The Prince George's County Department of Parks and Recreation, Southern Region Parks Division, seeks an experienced
Park Manager I to manage area maintenance and operation programs working the Clinton and Fort Washington, Maryland geographic areas. This position manages a work program with responsibilities to include personnel management, asset inventory, budget and procurement, project management, and emergency management to support the Senior Park Manager. Performs other related duties as assigned.
This position will have a work schedule of Monday-Friday from 6:00am – 2:45pm but maybe required to a shifted schedule based on weather emergency and event management. This position is an essential employee and manages multiple high profile Regional Parks and Facilities which may require after hours work.
Hiring Range: $51,860 - $71,852 with growth potential to $91,845. Salary commensurate with experience.Class/Specification: Park Manager I

Working Conditions:
Works in office and within geographical area. Works extended evenings, weekends, and holidays. On-call to respond to emergency situations. Continuous contact with the public
