Construction Scheduler / Planner

Summary: The Construction Project Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and updating comprehensive schedules for construction projects (must have experience in residential and commercial buildings). This role requires effectively communicating schedule status, progress, and potential issues to various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop baseline schedules per contract requirements and prepare proposal schedules to support the pursuit of new contracts
• Track schedule performance, identify risks/delays, facilitate regular updates, and analyze the impact of changes
• Support claims evaluations by quantifying schedule impacts and construction delay claims
• Maintain schedule data in software and provide scheduling training/support focused on construction methods

Requirements:

• 5 years experience developing and managing schedules for construction projects in commercial/residential buildings
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering or equivalent
• Proficient with Primavera P6
• Ability to read, understand, and utilize diagrams such as architectural/structural plans, civil drawings, MEP drawings, and schematics in developing project schedules.
• Understanding of construction processes
• Strong analytical skills to evaluate schedule risks
• Effective communication skills to interface with stakeholders
• Experience working directly on active construction sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $130,000.00 per year
