We operate two campuses and two satellite campuses, with 180 staff serving children and families all over the state of Kentucky.
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Human Resources to join our team and lead our HR Department. This is a pivotal role within our organization’s continuing work to be a preferred place to work and preferred provider. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping our recruitment, hiring, developing effective HR systems, and aligning HR strategies with our mission, values, and broader business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures that support our mission and values, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Lead recruitment and hiring efforts to attract top talent, with a focus on diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Create and assist training and development programs to support employee growth and advancement.
- Foster a positive and inclusive work environment through effective communication, conflict resolution, and team-building initiatives.
- Oversee compensation and benefits programs to ensure competitive and equitable offerings for our staff.
- Collaborate with leadership to drive organizational change initiatives and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
- Utilize data and analytics to measure HR effectiveness and drive strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master's degree preferred.
- 5 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on leadership and strategic planning.
- Strong knowledge of HR best practices, employment laws, and regulatory requirements.
- Experience working in the non-profit or behavioral health sector is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to implement HR systems and drive effective change within an organization.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) is a plus.
