Job description for hiring: Roundsman/ Banquet Staff

The Milbrook Club Is seeking a strong culinarian to work as a Roundsman Cook.

A premier private Country Club in Greenwich CT looking for a FULL-TIME Roundsman Cook for our busy operation. Experience culinarian, with a positive attitude and willingness to work varied shifts. We will need the individual to be available day and evening shifts, along with weekends and major holidays. You will focus on private parties, banquets, production cookery and plate up. Must be able to multitask in a fast-paced environment and work well with an experienced team in place. We have fun daily but conduct our business in a professional atmosphere indicative of our members.

Required:
*3 years of experience in kitchen
*Must be organized, self-motivated
*Open Availability
*Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a demanding environment
*Enthusiastic
*Good communication skills
*Employment authorization

*Vaccination Card

*Background Check

Ability to follow directions

Experience in banquet and catering operations

Team emphasis is desired

Must have strong knife skills

Experience in butchering of meat and fish
Experience with using kitchen equipment
Must be able to lift to 50 pounds

Follow all sanitation practices in accordance with Local, State, and Federal Health Standards
Willingness to clean the kitchen area before you end your shift

Comfortable working in front of Members/Guests, as needed

Performs other duties as assigned

Ability to relieve, assist or fill in any kitchen position as needed

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
