The Missing Piece is a small BCBA owned company that serves children in the clinical setting in Auburn and Kendallville. We are seeking a motivated, energetic, driven Board Certified Behavior Analyst to join our team. Individuals currently in a master's program are encouraged to apply. The Missing Piece provided supervision to those working towards their certification without a pay back approach.
BCBA’s may choose a 4 day work week or a work from home day. The Missing Piece also offers generous paid time off available at the start of employment. BCBAs will receive 12 days of PTO as well as opportunities to earn additional time throughout the year. The Missing Piece also provides summer and winter breaks (10 paid days) as well as all other major holidays.
Duties:
- Provide clinical supervision and oversight to a team of behavioral therapists and technicians
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for clients with special needs, including those with developmental disabilities and autism
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine appropriate interventions and goals
- Train and mentor staff on evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques
- Monitor progress of clients and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other professionals, such as speech therapists and occupational therapists, to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
Experience:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in a related field (e.g., special education, psychology, applied behavior analysis)
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working with children with special needs, preferably in a clinical or therapeutic setting
- Strong knowledge of behavioral therapy principles and techniques
- Experience in data collection and analysis to inform treatment decisions
- Familiarity with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in the field of special education and developmental disabilities
