Part-Time Assistant to Managing Parter
Location: Hybrid New York, NY, office is located near Penn Station & easily commutable
Project based - The schedule is flexible, but the candidate is expected to be available and able to multitask due to the nature of the role.
Hourly Range: $20-$30/hr; dependent on experience
Average Hours: 8/wk with an opportunity to increase Although most of the assignments will be performed remotely, this role requires in-person work in New York City on specific days agreed upon in advance (at least once a week usually).

Job Description :
We are seeking a Part-Time Assistant to provide essential support to the Managing Partner. In this role, you will be responsible for managing logistics, facilitating effective communication, and assisting with various administrative and personal tasks. This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious and self-driven professional with a passion for art, film, music, luxury goods, emerging technologies, and/or the law.

Primary Responsibilities :
Coordinate and support the Managing Partner's external schedule, ensuring efficient calendar management.
Field calls and emails directed to the Managing Partner and the firm.
Assist in arranging internal and external meetings, including booking spaces, preparing materials, and coordinating attendees.
Manage general administration and supplies, coordinating property maintenance as necessary.
Demonstrate emotional intelligence, judgment, discretion, and confidentiality in all matters.
Proactively identify and address potential issues to contribute to a smooth workflow.
Assist in organizing and preparing presentations, meeting materials, social media content, and website updates.
Familiarize yourself with the internal dynamics of the firm, including its culture and operations.
Gain an understanding of the industries the law firm services, including trends and competitors, to support the firm's strategic initiatives.
Take meeting notes, document discussions, and ensure follow-up actions are implemented.
Contribute to various content initiatives, research tasks, and projects (both internal and external).
Collaborate effectively with other partners, associates, interns, and law clerks to support firm-wide programs and initiatives.

Minimum Requirements:
College degree;
1-2 years of combined internship or work experience providing administrative support or similar roles (preferably in a legal or related field) is strongly desired;
Proficiency in G-Suite;
Familiarity with Clio (for law firms);
Proficiency in Microsoft Office;
Experience with Squarespace is a plus;
Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact comfortably with individuals of all kinds;
Exceptional organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment;
Solutions-oriented mindset, with the ability to anticipate and resolve problems proactively;
Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering highest quality of work;
Confidence and enthusiasm coupled with humility and a willingness to learn; and
Experience working with lawyers, galleries, auction houses, recording studios, production companies, or similar entities is a plus but not required.

Expected Compensation : The hourly rate for this position is in the range of $20-30 per hour, based on relevant skills, training, experience, and education.
