The Morgan Library & Museum, a museum and independent research library in midtown Manhattan, welcomes applications for Human Resources Specialist. This position is part of an HR team working in support of a comprehensive new strategic plan that will guide the Morgan’s work for the next five years.
This role has lead responsibility for coordinating the Morgan’s Fellowship, Internship, and Volunteer programs. This involves working with managers to develop programs; identifying and creating hiring resources with the goal of attracting a diverse applicant pool; managing applicants and coordinating the selection process. The Specialist also plans and implements special events and tours and acts as the point of contact/support for program participants. As part of the Morgan’s Human Resources team, the Specialist will also assist with some hiring activity, fulfill other administrative duties and be a part of the team transitioning the Morgan to a new Human Resources Information System.
