Loader Operator

Key Results:

Responsible for moving all raw materials into predetermined areas as directed by Plant Supervisor.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

• Complies with all Company policies and procedures which includes Substance Abuse policy but not limited to.
• Adhered to all safety and operational practices.
• Willing to participate in ALL4Zero Safety Program.
• Moving of raw materials from storage areas into feed hoppers as directed by plant supervisor or team leader.
• Must be able to distinguish various raw materials to avoid any cross-contamination.
• Locate product safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to read and understand various paperwork to accurately move various types of product and materials throughout the facility.
• Must be able to safely operate front-end loader, forklift, and dump trucks.
• Must complete a daily operator’s checklist on the loader to which the operator is assigned.
• Able to work at heights, heavy lifting, capable of wearing a respirator, hardhat, and safety glasses.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor with safety issues.
• Responsible for notifying supervisor of forklift operating issues, product storage issues, inventory restock issues, and inventory variances.
• Responsible for housekeeping at the unloading areas, plant receiving areas, and all associated grounds.
• Have basic knowledge and understanding of unloading information.
• Ability to work well with teams and alone.
• Inspect facility for maintenance issues; keep area clean and well maintained.
• Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills:

• Understand Raw Materials and know how to best handle so as to maintain top quality.
• Capable of supporting production process ensuring no shortage of fed materials.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
