PIPE FOREMAN

Successful candidates will have a minimum of three (3) years of continuous and current experience as a Pipe Supervisor in a petrochemical, industrial, or manufacturing environment.
Supervisor Daily Operations over all Pipe withing the Facility
Candidates supervise installation and repair high and low-pressure pipe systems using a manufacturing in generation of electricity, and in heating/cooling systems. Candidates work from blueprints and drawings. They lay out the job and perform such tasks as measuring, marking, cutting, and threading pipe to connect pipe systems. Candidates work with various piping materials and tools and must know the specific use of each. For example, gas and other chemicals require certain types of pipes and different types of seals and gaskets. Different pipes require different tools for assembly. The Pipefitter trade requires formal training to know local ordinances, state codes, and regulations regarding their work. Eye-hand coordination, manual dexterity, and physical balance is important. Pipefitters use many different materials and construction techniques, depending on the type of project.
Major Duties & Responsibilities:
- MANAGE AND ASSIGN WORK DUTIES BASED ON PLANT SCHEDULE
- Prioritize and manage all Pipe assignments needed within the plant
- Manage and log all relevant documentation for all assigned piping jobs
- Read and work from blueprints
- Selects specified type and size of pipe
- Perform other duties as required

This position requires a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement with the ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a safe, efficient manner. The ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing is also required.
