Storeroom Receiving Associate
The ideal candidate for the Storeroom Receiving Associate role must be a self-starter, who is highly motivated and results driven. This individual will be motivated by technical challenges with excellent communication, organization and interpersonal skills, as well as moderate to strong SAP/R3 knowledge and user capabilities. The primary responsibility of this position is to perform a variety of shipping and receiving tasks in the Storeroom, with continued development of the aforementioned ideals at Chemours Fayetteville Site.
This will be accomplished through the following tasks:
· Receives and unloads incoming materials and compares information on packing slip with purchase order to verify accuracy of shipment
· Verifies materials received are as ordered and routes incoming items to appropriate departments/locations
· Inspects material for damages or defects; records discrepancies or damages and coordinates returns
· Performs goods receipt of materials in SAP
· Process material/freight invoicing in Work Cycle/SAP
· Assists with performing cycle counts on daily/weekly basis to ensure completion prior to year-end by generating documents via SAP
· Timely resolution of inbound/outbound freight issues
· Support/Implement site cost reduction initiatives
· Develop, maintain and update Storeroom procedures/checklists
· Provide relief for shipping and receiving personnel
· Maintain good housekeeping of the Storeroom
· Provide optimal customer support for Site personnel
Skills and Requirements
· High school diploma or GED; at least 1 year of experience directly related to the tasks specified above
· Working knowledge of SAP/R3
· Ability to take direction, utilize information, and execute
· Organizational skills with ability and desire to drive change with little to no direction
· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and contingency planning with strong attention to details
· Overall knowledge of industrial, electrical, and mechanical parts and equipment
· Excellent written and oral communication skills
· Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
· Ability and willingness to operate a dolly, pallet jack, and/or forklift on a daily basis
· Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite and computer knowledge
PREFERRED
· Advanced SAP/R3 knowledge
· Significant years experience in storeroom receiving and warehouse experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
