Sitecore Developer

The Mx Group's software development team builds fully custom mobile and web apps for our clients. From highly complex e-commerce implementations to built-from-scratch SaaS products, we love exploring the latest technology and bringing new ideas to life.
We're looking to add an experienced Sitecore team leader/developer to our team. In this full-time role, you'll work with a small, highly collaborative team in a fast-paced environment. Our tech stack is primarily Sitecore and custom Microsoft-based (.NET) systems, but we love exploring new tech and we work in a wide variety of languages and technologies.
What We're Looking For

• You will work closely with our existing Sitecore and Custom Software development teams, including setting Sitecore Best Practices and reviewing others' work.
• You have extensive experience with Sitecore and some experience with Sitecore 9 or 10 including substantial custom component development versus out-of-the-box configuration.
• You have experience / familiarity with containerization - especially if you've worked with Sitecore in containers
• You are eager to push the cutting edge in Sitecore with headless, React/Next.js and containers - and having hands-on experience to help us shape this is a huge plus.
• You prefer to structure your projects following the Helix architectural guidelines.
• You are fluent in a full stack of programming languages and tools (typically SXA, Helix, Azure PaaS, C#, Typescript, SASS, HTML), but are also not afraid to experiment with new tech.
• You've targeted both mobile and desktop users and are familiar with the mobile-first philosophy.
• You have experience working in an Agile environment, and you are comfortable producing code based on user stories and wireframes instead of fully fleshed-out specs.
• You feel motivated to challenge the status quo — just because it's how we've always done it doesn't mean it's how we should do it this time around.
• Experience with Sitecore 10 in Sitecore Managed Containers is a plus but not required
