JOB SUMMARY

Summary:
Lead and manages all aspects of Human Resources in support of the Company and Region’s short- and long-term strategic objectives. Oversees Talent Management, Compensation, Recruitment and Selection, Employee Retention, Coaching and Mentoring, Employee relations, and Workforce Planning. Act as a trusted advisor to the Executive team, Senior Management, Managers and functional leaders throughout the organization. Liaise with Headquarters and HR Shared Services team on HR projects, initiatives, policies, and goals.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the Leadership Team and help lead the organization in high employee satisfaction, which leads to high customer satisfaction and overall strong organizational performance.
- Lead the delivery of all Human Resources activities and initiatives for the Region in the areas of Compensation, Performance & Talent Management, Recruitment & Retention, and employee relations.
- Lead region-wide HR processes to support the business strategy within FCS (Freudenberg Chemical Specialties). Serve as a key partner within the HR shared services representing for the US locations . Coordinate and implement corporate driven HR initiatives.
- Support regional objectives and success by promoting a commitment to fairness, respecting diversity, fostering social responsibility and emphasizing the well-being of employees as outlined in the Company Guiding Principles. Promote a climate of trust, confidence, teamwork, open communication, in support of the prosperity of the business.
- Utilize the global HRIS to implement development plans/programs to identify and fill competency knowledge, and talent gaps. Identify and manage US strategic recruitment plans, succession planning for key contributors, as well as training and development programs to prepare employees for greater responsibility and professional growth. Coordinate and manage Local Leadership Development Programs.
- Conduct organizational assessments, respond to employee feedback & concerns, develop action plans to address such issues, and drive accountability with site leadership team members to ensure plans are deployed and employee engagement is maintained.
- Act as a liaison representing and reporting information & feedback to and from the Headquarters. Present to board members at annual meetings on the status of HR initiatives and projects.
- Serve as the Regional HR Lead in partnership with in Mexico and T in the US, in addition to the Corporate Center to ensure follow through on key HR initiatives and projects.
- Manage the job duties/priorities and development of any HR site Business Partners and/or Temporary HR personnel.
- Collaborate with corporate headquarters on the exchange of international talent to include contract development, escalation of relocation issues as needed, and to ensure a smooth onboarding of expatriates to new country and culture.
- Manage budget and other financial measures for the Human Resources Department in the US.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in preferably in a Human Resources related discipline. Master’s Degree with concentration in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related discipline highly sought after.
- 10 years of Human Resources Business Partner and/or Management demonstrated experience in leading and delivering contemporary HR practices and Executive collaboration. 3-5 years of direct Management and Leadership experience.
- Experience and/or exposure working for a global organization preferably with headquarters outside of the US.
- Experience and/or exposure working within an HR Shared Services structure.
- Solid knowledge of state and federal employment law and regulations.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation communication skills and experience with Executive level communications/presentations.
- Experience utilizing Human Resources Information Systems (i.e. Workday)
Pay: $110k-$130k base DOE plus bonus
