West Hollywood Career Nanny

THE FAMILY | West Hollywood family seeking a passionate, energetic, and experienced full-time career nanny, ideally one who LOVES toddlers. The parents are looking for someone to work alongside them as well as independently supporting with the care of their daughter.

Family requires six days a week, the actual schedule is somewhat flexible but guarantees 40 weekly hours a week minimum. Must be able to travel freely with the family whenever needed.

With COVID numbers on the rise, the family is hoping to find someone who is vaccinated, COVID conscious/mindful, willing to be masked in their home for a while, especially as there are no vaccines available for their daughter.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE | Happy, confident, playful, energetic, and positive. LOVES being around children and supporting families. LOVES toddlers. Loves interacting and engaging children with age-appropriate activities. Creative with generating ideas for play/activities. Takes initiative and is proactive. Helps with the supporting duties that directly or indirectly correlate to her care. Consistent, reliable, trustworthy with a playful demeanor. Has a strong work ethic. Team player. Has the ability to follow directions. Comfortable receiving instructions or feedback from the parents. Comfortable and able to work 6 days a week. Flexible with their availability. Strong command of English: written and verbal. Second languages such as Spanish, French or Italian are a plus!

THE JOB DETAILS | Engage, play, enrich, nurture, develop and stimulate using age-appropriate activities. Support all aspects of her care including but not limited to laundry, meal preps/pureeing foods, bottle washing, restocking of items/supplies, emptying diaper pails, creating activities, keeping nursery/diaper bags/strollers/car seats tidy/organized/stocked, etc. Help with the general support of the communal areas - tidying, picking up, unloading/loading dishwasher after personal use. Traveling with the family.

THE DAUGHTER | She is 8 months old and described as a bundle of love/joy. Already she is pretty active and vocal. She is extremely curious about the world around her and loves engagement.

THE REQUIREMENTS | Vaccinations: COVID, tdap, flu shot. Previous toddler experience. Passionate about working with toddlers and helping families. Inspired and takes pride in their work. Non-smoker. Valid Passport. Traveling with family.
Wants a long-term commitment - minimum of a year, ideally beyond that. (Family wants a career nanny.)

On-the-job driving may not be required at first, but the new hire needs their own safe and reliable vehicle.

THE QUALIFICATIONS | At least five years of toddler experience. Previous full-time nanny experience. Previous experience traveling with families. CPR/First Aid Certification in Pediatrics and Adults. Exceptional references.

THE SALARY | The rate range is $30 to $35 per hour, depending on experience.

THE START DATE | February/March 2022
