Position: Part Time Steward

The National is currently seeking a part time Steward who will follow the direction of the Stewarding and the Banquet Manager in regards to the pulling items needed to support the Banquet department and ensure all items are cleaned and returned to proper storage area and ready for use. Follows the direction of the Food and Beverage Management team to ensure kitchen appliances are kept on a cleaning schedule.

ESSENTIAL TASKS:  

•    Assists with pull sheets for items needed in banquet dept.

•    Assists with making sure all items used in banquets are returned to proper place and in proper working condition.

•    Maintains the cleanliness of kitchen appliances as directed by the F&B management staff.

•    Additional tasks and responsibilities may be assigned at the discretion of the manager/supervisor.  Tasks and responsibilities may be added or revised based on the volume of business and the need for the work to be completed at the present time. 

•    Follows policies and procedures and safety and sanitation policies and procedures and insures compliance with these policies and procedures.

•    May be required to work nights, weekends, and/or overtime.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:  

Education:   High school diploma is preferred.

Experience:    Previous restaurant experience is helpful.
