The Nest Provisioning is hiring friendly, motivated, and responsible Budtenders to provide exceptional customer experiences for our guests. Our Budtenders are the face of our unique retail experience, and need to be familiar with the rapidly growing cannabis industry. Responsibilities will include providing knowledgeable customer service, effective communication with management and co-workers, and strict adherence to regulatory procedures.

Ideal Budtender candidates have knowledge of Cannabis products and uses, and are comfortable in a fast-paced retail environment. Budtenders will keep industry knowledge complete and current, and responsibly handle store operations tasks including operating cash registers, regulatory compliance, and additional tasks.

Budtender responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing exceptional customer service advising and educating guests on suitable cannabis products based on their needs, preferences, and budget.
• Processing customers' payments using the The Nest Point of Sale (POS) system.
• Ensuring store organization and cleanliness at all times.
• Keeping knowledge of cannabis products and industry trends current and comprehensive through company provided training and individual research.
• Ensuring customers are educated in using cannabis products legally and safely.
• Accurately and consistently weighing, packaging, and labeling cannabis products as required, conforming to all legal and company regulations and processes.
• Verifying identification documents to ensure legal validity and regulation compliance.
• Continuous product inventory and stocking.
• Complete knowledge of and compliance with all company, local, and state policies, regulations, and laws regarding the sale and use of cannabis in Michigan.

Budtender Requirements:

• Over 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Must have Night and Weekend availability.
• Ability and desire to acquire knowledge of cannabis strains and products, and the recreational and therapeutic uses of THC and CBD.
• Proficiency in computer operation and Microsoft Office applications.
• Outstanding organizational skills.
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
• Ability to effectively perform job duties in high pressure situations.
• Reliable, punctual attendance with professional appearance and demeanor.
• Superior customer service experience and skill.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 30 per week
