Role Summary:
The h.wood Group’s, The Nice Guy in Los Angeles is seeking a hardworking and dedicated Bartender. The ideal candidate possesses a guest first attitude, strong commitment to service, and excellent communication. We ask for a willingness to receive and offer direction, be solutions oriented and encourage a hospitality driven environment. Open availability preferred.
Summary of Duties:
- Greets guests in a positive, friendly manner and making them feel welcome.
- Serves drinks, proportioning ingredients to exact recipes.
- Commands full menu knowledge at all times and preparation methods.
- Guides guests through all phases of their experience at the restaurant.
- Exhibits proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of both non-alcoholic and alcoholic beverages.
- Exhibits proper knowledge, selling techniques and service delivery of menu items of every course.
- Describes dinner features as needed, including menu changes and daily additions.
- Maintains the cleanliness and appearance of the bar.
- Anticipates the guests’ needs and responding appropriately with a sense of urgency.
- Works as a team, assisting all guests’ and employees’ needs and inquiries.
- Effectively communicates with management, service staff in order to fulfill and address any guest issues
- Bids farewell to guests, using guest’s name when known, and encouraging them to return.

- Follows all health and safety regulations.
- Performs all opening and closing duties as assigned
