Graphic Designer

The Alaska Commercial Company (ACC) is hiring a Graphic Designer to serve as the creative lead for all customer-facing print and digital media. This role requires exceptional writing, reading, and grammatical skills, in addition to print design and production skills for a range of marketing programs.

Key Accountabilities:

• Contribute to the conceptualization and creation of effective marketing communications, messages, and materials in support of the ACC marketing plan.
  • Coordinate and develop weekly promotional flyers, ensuring all information and images are accurate to accomplish specific deadlines.
  • Create and refine design solutions for marketing communications print materials, corporate communications, and branding materials.
  • Develop materials in support of marketing and communication design projects for events, store openings, and sponsorships.
  • Ensure consistency and effectiveness in all designs to establish and maintain brand standards while maintaining production specifications.
  • Adhere to timelines, delivering a finished product that is error-free and reflects best practices.
  • Design for all media types including but not limited to flyers, print, web, and social.
• Draft digital content for each of the following as needed:
  • Assist with weekly promotional email template designs through platforms such as Mailchimp or SendGrid.
  • Design and draft content on our corporate Facebook and Instagram pages.
  • Upload weekly flyers and advertisements to store social media pages.
  • Work with the e-commerce marketing team to provide digital content on our e-commerce website and mobile app.
  • Participate in marketing opportunities with Span Elite to create content for social media and monthly newsletters.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager to generate new content for the corporate website, www.alaskacommercial.com.
