Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Certified Nursing Assistant with intent on becoming a Certified Medication Aide
• Experience in scheduling, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong organizational and time-management skills

Job Description

• Prepare a schedule for nursing staff so as to maintain twenty-four (24) hour staffing as required by law, and has responsibility for daily staffing and replacing staff who have called out, as needed. If unable to find a replacement, must come in to work to fulfill the need.
• Develop and maintain the master schedule for nursing staff
• Handle schedule changes, shift swaps, and last-minute adjustments in a timely and efficient manner.
• Perform other duties as requested by the Administrator or DON.

Work Schedule

• 40 hours per week with occasional overtime depending on staffing needs
• Scheduled hours may vary due to need and circumstances
• Will be responsible to take call for staffing/scheduling issues.
