nZone Personal Training Director Job Description
The nZone is looking for a driven, compassionate leader to manage and elevate our Personal Training program including growing our client-base and developing our trainers. nZone trainers inspire and help individuals and small groups achieve their general fitness and wellness goals in our 83,000 sq ft facility featuring a fitness center, athletic performance center, CrossFit gym, turf fields, and basketball courts. This is a rare leadership opportunity to own and lead one of nZone’s core fitness programs.
What You’ll Do
Lead and Manage the Team
- Recruit, train, and manage a team of personal trainers.
- Provide leadership and guidance to ensure the team's success.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and offer constructive feedback.
- Provide ongoing training and professional development opportunities for personal trainers.
Oversee Personal Training Services
- Oversee client assessments and consultations to tailor programs to individual needs.
- Ensure personal trainers design and deliver effective personal training programs for clients.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure the delivery of high-quality training services.
- Handle escalated client issues and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Utilize data and client feedback to ensure the effectiveness of and improve training programs.
- Ensure that all personal training activities comply with relevant industry, legal/ethical, and health/safety standards.
- Stay updated on industry trends and incorporate new techniques into training programs.
- Encourage innovation and the adoption of new technologies in personal training.
Grow Clientele
- Set goals and objectives and develop/implement strategic plans to meet those goals and grow the personal training program.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to promote personal training services and attract new clients.
- Explore opportunities for upselling and cross-selling to increase revenue.
- Implement strategies to retain existing clients and foster long-term relationships.
What You Need
- A personal or group training certification
- At least 5 years of experience in personal training
- At least 2 years of experience managing a team (5-10 people)
- Sales experience in a quota-based environment
- Up-to-date CPR/AED certifications

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $50.00 per hour
Expected hours: 25 – 40 per week
