The Purpose of Your Role
The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages the recruitment lifecycle with a keen awareness of critical timelines. They are responsible for proactively recruiting and interviewing top candidates, building talent pools, and ensuring an excellent candidate experience. They focus on employee relations to retain employees long-term and build TOATC employer brand. The Talent Acquisition Specialist helps to align talent strategy with hiring decisions, identify creative and varied sources of qualified talent, and advise hiring managers regarding key skills or characteristics that matter most to selection.
Success Indicators/KPIs
- Maintain average time to fill at or under 27 days
- Reach out to 100% referrals within 24 hours
- 95% department interviews scheduled within 24 hours after the initial phone interview

Responsibilities
- Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs
- Designs job descriptions and interview questions that reflect each positions requirements
- Manages interview and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments and in-person interviews
- Prepares and extends offers, collaborates with hiring managers to execute candidate negotiations, and performs reference checks
- Creatively builds and delivers excellence in each stage of the recruitment search process including specification of jobs, sourcing, employer branding, candidate engagement, screening, interviewing, and selection
- Source potential candidates through online channels (e.g. social platforms and professional networks)
- Develops pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Create monthly reports on key talent acquisition metrics
- Participates in developing department goals, objectives, and systems
- Adheres to all company policies and procedures
- Other duties as assigned
The Skills and Expertise You Have
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of comprehensive full-cycle recruiting experience
- Experience recruiting in the behavioral health field with detailed knowledge of clinical work, social work, mental health counseling, or related clinical discipline
- Proficient knowledge of computers, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and other computer software
- Accurate and efficient electronic data entry
- Must be punctual and maintain excellent attendance
- Organized, detail-oriented, takes the initiative, and completes job responsibilities independently
- Multitask, problem-solve, interpersonal skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills
- Thrives in a changing work environment, including inside, outside, and loud noise level
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, or related field
