About the Role
The Executive Producer position is the lead production role on an agency client's team. They are responsible for all production deliverables across all platforms for their client. The EP knows what has been produced, what's currently being produced and what's on the horizon. The EP is intimate on all project details for produced work coming from their team (who produced what, budget, timing, what was delivered).
The Executive Producer and their teams oversee all aspects of content production: scoping, concepting, scheduling, talent, vendor relationships, shoot, edit, visual effects, music and delivery. He/she also coordinates with the digital, social and experiential teams to ensure synergy of all assets and content.
An EP is constantly looking at production talent and new partners.
This position is the hub connecting the Account, Creative, Program Management and Business Affairs departments.
What You'll Do
- The EP is responsible for working with the account leads to create production staffing plans and to make sure there is sufficient production staffing for a given clients SOW.
- The EP has client facing duties as part of the client lead team on assigned accounts. Responsible for creating production strategies, production innovations and creative production solutions for the clients.
- Responsible for production staffing on projects, ball-parking projects and early vetting of creative concepts. The EP is solution oriented and an expert in creative problem solving.
- Senior producers, producers and associate producers will be assigned to each EP. The EP is responsible for mentoring, career development and support for their respective team.
- When needed, the EP will produce projects. The Integrated EP role is a true "player/coach" role.

- Know music - how, when and where to use it effectively.
- Manage the hidden involvements and work necessary in relation to cost, timing and legal involvements.
- You are able to negotiate contracts and understand all the complicated business items connected with production.
- Be flexible - production is not an exact science.
- 10-15 years ad agency experience in production. Production studio experience a plus.
- Knowledge of all agency disciplines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and proactive problem-solving skills
- Strong team management skills
- Detail-oriented, take-ownership attitude, self-organizing and highly skilled in time management to facilitate involvement in multiple projects.
- Proficient in MAC OS, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote (Adobe creative suite & Smartsheet a plus)
