What are the responsibilities and job description for the Advanced Practice Provider - Comprehensive Spine Center position at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center?
The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) is an integral part of the multi-disciplinary spine center team. The APP engages in independent decision making in the evaluation and care of spine patients. In this role, the APP will provide direct patient care as well as consultative services to provide a comprehensive spine evaluation. Their services will include consults, billing, patient education, staff education, related committee membership, patient triage, working with referring physician offices and participating in research activities. This position will be located at the Comprehensive Spine Center and outreach sites.
Minimum Education Required
Master's Level Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience with a Major in nursing
Required Qualifications
Current Ohio RN and COA licenses. Meets mandatory educational and health requirements. Demonstrates competence in essential job functions. Medical Staff Appointment and Standard Care Agreement.
Regular 40 First Shift
