Duties and Responsibilities:
55% participates in in the preparation, tracking and coordination of extramural and intramural grant applications, including NIH, DOD, foundation and university pilot grants; preparing, tracking and coordinating external contracts and subawards by acting as the liaison between the department, university offices, and sponsors; works with the department investigators with Data Use Agreement requests and confidentiality disclosure agreements (CDA) including acting as a liaison between the department, university offices, and collaborators; assist department investigators with the preparation and submission of intellectual property disclosures; participate in the management of effort assignments for personnel with external funding.
35% responsible for supporting day-to-day administration of departmental policies and processes relating to fiscal activity including journals, deposits, transfers, payroll, procurement, inventory, accounts payable, accounts receivable, asset management, and grants management;
5% serve as a backup and partners with the Emergency Medicine's Finance Manager.
5% other duties as assigned
