Job Title: Lead Echocardiography Technologist Department: Ross | Heart Hospital Administration Job Description This position performs all duties of an Echo Technologist, in addition to coordinating daily work flow, daily assignments, patient flow, and provides support to the operation of the department. The Lead provides all quality assessment activities for the imaging site, in addition to the maintenance of accreditation of the site, under the direction of the Radiology Manager. Provides assistance in assessing Echo Technologists? performance for annual appraisals, as well as orienting new staff to the Imaging Center. The Lead may cover additional Radiology Manager responsibilities, as necessary, in the Managers absence, or should a vacancy occur. Minimum Education 2-Year College Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience Required Qualifications Associate's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer or Registered Cardiac Sonographer from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or Cardiovascular Credentialing International registry. Sonography registered. Must have one specialty certification (General, Abdomen, Cardiac (Echo), Vascular, Breast, Fetal, Pediatric, Pelvic, Small Parts or OB/GYN). 2 years of relevant experience required.
