Job Title: Manager-Clinical Quality Outcomes Department: Health System Shared Services | Health System Nursing Administration Job Description Scope of Position/Position Summary: The Nurse Clinical Outcomes Manager functions as a facilitator, advisor and educator to practices, departments and divisions to assist in development and implementation of a variety of evidence-based, structured care methodologies including ERAS and other protocols, clinical practice guidelines and clinical pathways for designated patient populations to improve patient outcomes, operational performance and reduce variations in care. The Nurse Clinical Outcomes Manager will assess and evaluate outcomes to enhance health care delivery practice patterns and collaborate with teams in the management of designated patient populations across the continuum. The Nurse Clinical Outcomes Manager must be a systems thinker with strong clinical, interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to develop and maintain multiple relationships across the health system. CQI or other process improvement training and leadership experience is essential to the position. Must have strong data management skills with the ability to collect, analyze, interpret and report data to health care teams and hospital leadership as well as provide suggestions for creative solutions to challenges. Minimum Education Required Bachelor's Level Degree Required Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in nursing required. Master's degree in nursing, public health, business or health administration desired. RN with at least two years of clinical experience applicable to the patient population. Computer literacy required. Experience with evidence-based program/pathway development preferred. Experience in quality improvement with a working knowledge of quality methodologies preferred. Ongoing - Meet mandatory education and health surveillance requirements. Demonstrates competence in technical, interpersonal, and cognitive skills required to meet essential job functions.
