The One 23 Group, a Virginia-based Government Contractor, seeks a Software Engineer - Senior local to the St. Louis, MO area.
Requirements:- Research, design, and develop computer and network software or specialized utility programs.
- Analyze user needs and develop software solutions, applying principles and techniques of computer science, engineering, and mathematical analysis.
- Update software or enhance existing software capabilities.
- May work with computer hardware engineers to integrate hardware and software systems and develop specifications and performance requirements.
- May maintain databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team.
Qualifications:
- 10 Years of related field or work experience.
- Experience with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript (including jQuery and Vue.js framework). and server-side CSS pre-processing platforms such as LESS and SASS.
- Experience with Git code versioning tools, Adobe (Illustrator, Photoshop, Animate, After Effects), MAP Publisher, Visual Studio.
- Effective communication skills and ability to translate mission requirements to systematic functions and vice versa.
- Familiarity with the Intelligence Community and geospatial intelligence (GEOINT). GEOINT describes, assesses, and visually depicts physical features and geographically referenced activities on the Earth. GEOINT, as defined in US Code, consists of imagery, imagery intelligence (IMINT), and geospatial information.
- Must adhere to standards, processes, and workflows.
Desired Skills:
- Experience with PHP, Python, C#, C .
- Experience using Intelligence Community computer systems, non-cloud web servers, AWS cloud, security, and familiarity with the Enterprise computer network.
- Experience within software/web development field with both government and/or commercial experience.
- Experience with relational database and performing database administration using SQL.
- Experience with ColdFusion.
- Experience working with AngularJS, Web Services, SQL, and MySQL.
- Experience with Enterprise Services such as PeopleSoft, GEOAxIS, etc.
- Experience with other languages as applicable (Python, Model Glue, etc.).
