As a Floater Teacher, you will:
- Nurture and Support: Provide primary and secondary caregiving across various age groups, including infants, toddlers, and older toddlers, fostering a secure and nurturing environment for all children.
- Engage in Play and Development: Actively participate in play, dance, and developmental activities, supporting Lead Teachers in guiding each child's growth and learning.
- Prepare and Serve Meals: Oversee the preparation and serving of morning snacks, lunch, and afternoon snacks, ensuring that all children receive nutritious and balanced meals.
- Facilitate Nap Time: Assist children in transitioning to nap time, creating a calm and soothing atmosphere that promotes restful sleep.
- Support Classroom Activities: Contribute to classroom activities and child-led play, enhancing the learning experience and fostering creativity.
- Coordinate Arts & Crafts: Prepare and organize pre-established arts and crafts activities throughout the week, ensuring materials are ready and accessible.
- Maintain Hygiene and Schedules: Support and adhere to potty training and diaper changing routines, ensuring each child's health and comfort.
- Uphold Center Cleanliness: Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and upkeep of the center, including tasks such as laundry, dishes, sanitation, and restocking supplies.
- Build Parent Relationships: Establish strong, positive relationships with parents through clear and consistent communication, keeping them informed of their child's progress.
- Ensure Compliance: Adhere to all regulations and guidelines for children's care, health, and safety, maintaining a safe and compliant environment.
- Foster a Collaborative Environment: Contribute to a positive and engaging work environment through collaboration with colleagues and continuous learning.
