Patient Services Specialist - Referral Coordinator for Urology (NE Portland)

The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time, Patient Services Specialist to work at our Urology clinic located in NE Portland. We are looking for a referral coordinator/specialist whose main role will be to process referrals and schedule patients. Additional responsibilities include patient check ins, answering high volume phone calls, scheduling new and established patients, obtaining medical records, insurance verification, and other duties as assigned. We have a high volume of patients in a fast-paced environment and seek an individual that can multitask. We are searching for a candidate with a friendly demeanor, positive attitude, strong desire to learn and patient focused customer service. Free parking available at clinic location!

Work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00AM - 4:30PM.

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

Level I - $18.33- $24.81 per hour.
Level II - $20.17 - $27.29 per hour.
Level III - $22.18 - $30.01 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Requirements:

• Two years prior medical office experience required.
• Prior scheduling and urology experience preferred.
• Experience with Electronic Medical Records, specifically Centricity/Athena and EPIC
• Team-oriented with the ability to also work independently.
• Excellent phone and customer service skills
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff, and physicians.
