We are seeking a part-time, Certified Medical Assistant to join our practice located in the Good Samaritan Medical Building. Responsibilities include phone triage, rooming patients, obtaining vitals, injections, assisting physicians, covering the front desk (patient check in) and other duties as assigned. Our busy practice receives a high volume of patient appointments and calls, and we are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great positive attitude, and customer-focused work ethic. Candidates must be detail-oriented, strong at multitasking and dedicated to high quality patient care. We are looking for someone with a great attitude and solid prior experience in both medical assisting and medical front office. Workdays will within the work week of Monday-Friday, 7:30 am - 5:00 pm staggered shifts. No Weekends, 8 paid Holidays! Free parking for clinic employees
Starting pay range, based on experience:
Medical Assistant Certified
Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.
Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.
Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.
Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 50% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for part-time employees.
Qualifications:
- 1-year prior experience as a Medical Assistant preferred
- Prior scheduling experience is strongly preferred.
- Fluency in a second language a plus
- Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
- Excellent prior work references
- Strong commitment to patient care and privacy guidelines
