Medical Assistant - Credentialed, Advice for GI (Oregon City)

The Gastroenterology South Division of The Oregon Clinic is seeking a full-time Credentialed Medical Assistant to join our clinic located in Oregon City. This position will do Rx refills, prior authorizations, answer incoming patient phone calls, and other duties as assigned. This is primarily a phone based medical assistant position. We are searching for an experienced candidate with a friendly demeanor, great attitude, and patient-focused work ethic. The ideal candidate will have 2 years of previous medical assistant experience. Candidates must have the ability to multitask and be able to maintain a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced office. This position will be 50% remote after 4-6 weeks of onsite training.

Workdays are Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm or 4 10-hour shifts.

Hiring pay based on open position, experience, and credentials:

Level I - $21.66- $29.30 per hour.

Level II - $23.82 - $32.23 per hour.

Level III - $26.21 - $35.46 per hour.

Placement within levels based on specialty group, experience, additional duties.

Medical, Vision, and Rx Insurance is 100% paid for by The Oregon Clinic for full-time employees.

Requirements:

• Current Medical Assistant Certification through a national agency such as NCCT or AAMA
• Minimum of 2 years of MA experience preferred
• Prior experience with Centricity preferred
• Excellent phone skills and customer service skills
• Excellent attendance and work ethic
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, staff and providers.
