The Outreach Team is a field firm specializing in face-to-face canvassing operations. We fuel the nation's leading progressive groups to raise money, and impact critical elections.
We are currently seeking Field Directors to join us on an important and exciting campaign to help manage the day to day operations of a canvass operation aimed at door to door canvassing to educate Pennsylvanians about the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed in 2022 by the Biden Administration, and connect them to clean energy resources. We are hiring for multiple Lead Director and Deputy Director positions in Philadelphia, Bucks County, Montgomery County, Chester County.
The Inflation Reduction Act (IRA) passed by President Biden’s administration in 2022 is a transformational move to fight climate change that provides homeowners, communities, and local businesses with access to credits and tax rebates for energy efficient projects and upgrades. Taking advantage of the IRA benefits not only improves our environmental footprint, but the quality of life for Pennsylvanians. Unfortunately, too few residents know about the IRA or how to access the benefits. Our goal is to provide the public information on these tangible benefits to reduce their monthly costs while also fighting the climate crisis.
Field Directors will recruit, train, and manage a team of local canvassers to educate Pennsylvanians about the benefits of the Inflation Reduction Act passed in 2022 by the Biden Administration and connecting them to clean energy resources. Additionally, the Lead Campaign Director will manage a team of three or more Deputy Directors, and will be responsible for building an office to scale from the ground up. This position reports to the Project Director.
COVID-19 has altered the political landscape, but one thing remains the same - we will need to have in-person conversations with people to ensure they have the information necessary to take advantage of these historic benefits. Thankfully, we can do this in a way that is low risk. We will provide PPE and substantial health and safety training, we will work outside, and we will all follow the canvassing protocols that will allow us to do this critical work while keeping ourselves and everyone else in our communities safe.
We are hiring immediately. This position can run through May 3, 2023, with opportunities to extend.
Locations: NW Philly, parts of Bucks, Chester and Montgomery Counties. Strong preference for in-state candidates, short-term travel may be required.
