Job Title: FoodRunner/Busser
Reports to: Main Dining Room Manager
Position Description Summary:
Ensures that all Pacific Club members and guests receive proper, attentive, courteous, and professional service at the Club to include greeting tables with water and bread, refilling beverages, clearing and resetting tables, and communicating pertinent information to the kitchen. Must follow all club safety and sanitation guidelines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assures that all state and local laws and club policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages are consistently followed.
- Knowledge of and ability to perform required roles during emergency situations.
- Set up, serve, and clean dining and banquet rooms.
- Performs opening and closing side work duties
- Provides immediate attention to all members and guests upon greeting them.
- Takes beverage orders when appropriate and serves food in the specified stations.
- Pours and refills wine, coffee, water, and other beverages served with and after the meal.
- Clears soiled dishes as needed.
- Cleans all assigned work areas in kitchen and banquet areas.
- Advises supervisor of any member or guest complaints as soon as they occur.
- Assists in closing functions such as removing linen, bussing glasses, dishes, silverware, etc., and re-setting the room for the next function.
- Adherence to schedules and attends staff meetings, including pre-shift sessions.
- Consistently follows all food safety-related requirements.
- Completes other appropriate assignments made by the MDR Manager.
- To work well as a team member with the entire club staff.
- Operate under all guidelines, policies, standards, and constraints as set forth by The Pacific Club.
- Other tasks and duties as directed by management.
Physical Demands and Work Environment:
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs.
- Ability to carry trays of food.
- Standing on feet for up to 8 hours.
- Continuous repetitive motions.
- Work in a hot, humid, and noisy environment.
Education and Experience:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent.
- Kitchen and/or serving experience, preferably in a professional member-servicing environment.
- Fine dining experience.
Licenses and Special Requirements:
- TB test clearance & liquor card.

Pay rate: Starting at $17 per hour. Non-exempt.
Pre-employment requirement: Negative drug test.
