Description
The Treasury Management Operations Specialist serves a critical role in the onboarding and servicing of treasury clients. This position is also responsible for assisting the TM Relationship Managers and TM Support Specialists with client support during the onboarding process and post-implementation.
The TM Operations Specialist will routinely engage in client discussions and assist in troubleshooting treasury product-related issues. This position will also provide remote or in person client training of treasury products.
The TM Support Specialist will assist in monitoring risk associated with treasury products and annual risk assessments. A key responsibility of the TM Operations Specialist is ensuring that the systematic onboarding process of treasury products and services is completed correctly, timely and documented to ensure satisfactory audits.
Because treasury products are technology-centric, it is important for the TM Operations Specialist to obtain ongoing education.
The TM Operations Specialist is encouraged to pursue advanced certifications in Treasury Services and Payment Systems such as AAP and APRP.
Qualifications
Systems Administration
- Provide technical support to clients for treasury products delivered through the banks online banking system and sub-systems (ACH Origination, Remote Deposit Capture (RDC), Remote Cash Capture (RCC), Wire Transfer, Bill Payment, Commercial Mobile Deposit, and Wholesale Lockbox).
- Assist vendors and integration teams during implementation or upgrade of treasury systems. Actively participate in special projects as assigned.
- Oversee administrative functions and configurations in treasury systems for both internal and external users.
Client Onboarding and Billing
- Review user-related account documents and Treasury services agreements received from the TM Relationship Manager and TM Support Specialist for accuracy.
- On-board treasury products and services in online banking and sub-systems based on documentation provided. Establish user rights and company configurations.
- Collaborate with TM Relationship Managers to ensure all products, pricing, and procedures have been appropriately implemented after on-boarding.
- Ensure updates are performed in the Account Analysis billing system.
Client Servicing and Training
- Provide clients with assistance and resolution of questions received through all communication channels (phone, email, online messaging) daily.
- Provide remote or in person training of treasury products to clients.
- Advise customers regarding compliance with payment systems and banking regulations, as well establishing internal controls.
Risk Mitigation and Monitoring
- Assist in performing annual reviews and risk assessments associated with treasury products.
- Review and monitor receipt of all documentation necessary to achieve satisfactory audit ratings.
- Participate in education opportunities to ensure bank compliance with NACHA operating rules. AAP professional designation completion encouraged.
Community and Bank Involvement
- Participate in bank-sponsored activities, both internally and in the community
- Actively network within the community through memberships and outside business events
- Refer new business to bank partners (Retail, Commercial, Mortgage and Private Wealth Management)
Education, Training and Skills Required
- Education/training equivalent to an Associate Degree
- More than three years, fewer than five years experience required.
