SPECIALTY PUBLICATIONS MANAGER

The Papers Inc., has an exciting position open for a marketing management professional with experience in outside sales, client relationships, media sales, marketing or management.

Job Summary:

As Specialty Publications Manager, you will manage current specialty printing projects, working with local chamber of commerce directors, various association managers, and other clients, guiding specialty print projects from start to finish, while managing the advertising sales and sales person for each project.

Responsibilities:

• Manage each specialty print project from start to finish, collaborating with clients on content, meeting deadlines and directing the advertising sales for each project.
• Develop relationships with existing clients, learning the scope and goals of their project utilizing a consultative approach, producing quality publications on their behalf.
• Drive advertising sales and revenue growth for current and future projects.
• Ensure profitability for every project.
• Search for new potential clients and projects, adding new projects.
• Collaborate with graphic designers and production team to ensure every project is completed on deadline.
• Manage and direct advertising sales reps for each project.
• Sell advertising for select projects.

Qualifications:

· A minimum of 3 years of proven success in outside sales, client relationships, media sales, marketing or management.

· Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate ideas clearly, building rapport with clients and team members.

· Understanding of financial reports, with ability to analyze data and develop strategies that improve P&L outcomes

· Ability to conceptualize a guide or brochure, understanding the content that is needed from both a reader’s point of view as well as the client.

· Creative mindset with ability to help advertisers create impactful messaging.

· Ability to manage work flow and communications in a deadline driven environment.

Compensation:

$60,000 with future continued bonus / commission growth possibilities.
