What are the responsibilities and job description for the Lab Technician position at The Partners Associates?
Responsibilities:
Use various lab equipment to perform QC inspection tests on incoming raw materials, finished goods and packaged products to ensure conformance to quality standards. Enter QC inspection data into an electronic database and compile/send CoAs to customers as requested.
The QC Technician position will:
- Inspect raw materials as necessary
- Verify raw material CoAs are received and the test results contained conform to listed specifications
- Test internally made batches to specification
- Make minor adjustments to correct out-of-specification batches. Coordinate with QC Manager and/or Chemists on larger or novel batch adjustments.
