Custom woodworking shop looking for a full time cabinetmaker. Some experience doing high quality, professional, custom woodworking is preferred. We fabricate, finish and install custom cabinetry, architectural millwork and custom furniture. Our work ranges from modern European style high gloss custom kitchens to period furniture and architectural millwork.
You should be able to safely, efficiently and creatively operate a range of high quality industrial woodworking equipment. At a minimum, you should have a foundational understanding of the trade.
Things you'll need:
- A good attitude!
- Woodworking/custom cabinetry fabrication and installation experience.
- Organizational skills.
- Good communication skills.
- The ability to work independently and confidently make decisions on your own.
- To be able to read and understand technical shop and architectural drawings, digitally.
- To be willing and able to do millwork installation, as necessary, on job sites in and around the city.
- Reliable transportation and a valid drivers license.
Things you don't need:
- A bad attitude!
Bonus points if you have experience with:
- Finishing
- CAD/CAM software
- CNC operation
Hourly compensation, based on experience.
