Contract to Hire Position
Amount:$22.02
Hours:7am-3:30pm(Some OT required)
Job Description:
The Warehouse Specialist position reports to the Warehouse Manager and ensures that the essential functions and procedures of the warehouse are running smoothly and efficiently. This position is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse functions such as shipping and receiving, inventory, and audits as well as monitoring and overseeing off-site warehouse processes. They must have experience with ERP systems, and quality control inspection programs.
Job Duties:
- Coordination and assisting in creation of all documentation including procedures.
- Responsible for ensuring the on-time fulfillment of all orders, including special, urgent and
hot items.
- Responsible for ensuring claims, warranties, and returns are handled effectively on on-time.
- Responsible for organizing and tracking stock counts.
- Receipt of finished products (in ERP System and physically)
- Monitors and organizes process with off-site warehouse.
- Manage and update inventory quantities and locations.
- Auditing of process and procedures including triple verification of select orders and receipts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar position.
- Minimum 3 years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Professional, reliable and able to handle stressful situations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Experience with Inventory Management / ERP Systems desired.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
