Responsibilities

• Engage with end users and clients to pinpoint and deliver solutions for core functional areas and user needs.
• Create the strategic roadmap and steer the direction of product data models and APIs in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Communicate and collaborate with executive management as needed, providing updates on critical strategic projects.
• Address and resolve resource allocation issues, managing stakeholder expectations and setting priorities effectively.
• Oversee the production support team to close existing gaps with new builds or resource proposals.
• Plan and propose team structure and expansion as needed, with a strategic execution plan to support company growth.
• Mentor the team by coaching and leading by example in all aspects of development, from relationship-building to project execution.
• Quickly identify high-impact areas and mobilize key stakeholders to deliver outstanding products and crucial API features.
• Develop a comprehensive understanding of business impacts, managing the team and handling concurrent requests and requirements.
• Test and review client integrations, supervise team execution, and ensure flawless implementation.
• Continuously monitor API performance and client connectivity, making improvements throughout the product lifecycle.
• Stay informed about the competitive landscape, including business, legal, and compliance aspects.
• Contribute to the team and the broader company mission beyond the product realm when necessary.

Qualifications

• 5-10 years of experience in product management in a fast-paced, agile environment
• Proven track record of managing technical teams and projects
• Great communicator, comfortable engaging executive management for ideas and resolutions
• Data analysis experience is required, with an emphasis on SQL and developing API integrations
• In-depth understanding of organizational data flow and its impact on business processes
• Expertise in QA testing, business analysis, and project management
• Strong technical background and understanding; ability to design and implement strategic API functionalities at scale
• Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building relationships to gain buy-in and achieve business results
• History of customer-centric focus with a knack for quick and thoughtful problem-solving
• Experience in data engineering and quantitative science is preferred, but not required
