This role will be located in Los Angeles and will plan and execute all regional marketing initiatives with guidance from the National Marketing Team and the Regional Director. The ideal candidate will have a track record of effectively prioritizing marketing initiatives in a high-demand environment, as well as experience in one or more marketing specializations including but not limited to social media, email marketing, videography, or graphic design. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with regional director and national marketing team to execute effective regional marketing strategy
- Develop marketing calendar throughout the year (events, promotions, etc.)
- Act as primary marketing point of contact for the East Coast region and guide region on marketing best practices
- Evaluate and prioritize marketing requests from various departments including the programming, development, and volunteer teams
- Maximize regional marketing budget and identify resource gaps
- Manage campaigns and activate key initiatives
- Act as local subject matter expert on social media and guide regional social media leads
- Engage with national marketing team and field marketing specialist colleagues in thought partnership and knowledge sharing
- Respond fluidly to evolving marketing needs of region
- Travel regionally approximately 10% and work occasional evenings and weekends
QUALIFICATIONS
- 2-5 years' marketing experience
- Proven success in project management
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Fluency with Microsoft Office Suite
PREFERENCES
- Track record of successfully creating buy-in across local, regional, and national teams
- Experience with social media, email marketing, videography, graphic design or copywriting
- BA/BS degree, preferably in related field
