Recruiter, Plant Operations - Bells

Overview

The Pictsweet Company is growing! We are currently seeking a Recruiter to join the Pictsweet Hiring Center, supporting the company's flagship vegetable processing facility in Bells, TN. The Recruiter will join the HR department in Bells and will develop and executive strategies to effectively meet the complex staffing needs of a 24/7 production operation. 

Responsibilities

• Create and implement strategies to attract job seekers
• Work with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure job requirements and expectations are clearly understood and candidates are assessed against appropriate assessment tools.
• Develop strong relationships and partner with hiring manager, business leaders and HR to maximize effectiveness and timelines of recruiting process.
• Actively participate in all staffing related activities and engage in cross functional projects including updating job descriptions.
• May coordinate and attend college campus career fairs and other campus events with the objective of hiring and building the Pictsweet employment brand among college students.
• Must be an Ambassador of the “candidate experience”, whereby the process and candidate experience concerning timing, interview panels, and travel are described and managed.
• Coordinates candidate offer information, makes verbal offer, authors offer letter, and determines employment start date and onboarding activities. Manages background and reference verification and drug screen process.
• Participate on the plant Emergency Response Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in business administration or related field.
• Communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Excellent computer skills including effecient typing, using the Microsoft Office suite, and the ability to learn recruiting and HRIS software. 
• Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
• Bilingual (Spanish/English)
