School Bus Driver (CDL Class A or B with a Passenger Endorsement)

Department: Transportation

Position Commences: Immediately

The Pine School is seeking a proactive, positive, and passionate person to join our Transportation

Department.

Summary Description

The Pine School is searching for a safety minded, reliable school bus driver to transport students to and

from school as well as sports and field trips in support of the K -12 School’s Mission. The position requires

a positive attitude, is full-time year-round with a comprehensive benefits package and is located on our

beautiful 142 acre campus in Hobe Sound.

Duties and Responsibilities

● Responsible for the safe pick up and drop off of K -12 students in 2 -3 designated parking locations.

No highway, street or traffic loading/unloading points.

● CDL Class A, B or C with passenger and school bus endorsement (passenger endorsement only

OK). School is willing to help obtain a CDL for the right candidate and commitment.

● Current DOT medical card. School pays for medical exam & renewal every other year as required.

● First aid and CPR certification or willing to obtain (provided by the School).

● Assist with custodial and maintenance projects over School and summer breaks to maintain full-time

position.

● And any other duties needed to help drive to our Vision, fulfill our Mission, and abide by our

Organization’s Values.

Technical Skills

● Basic mathematical skill.

● General mechanical aptitude.

Hours and Compensation

● 35-40 Hours per week: Monday - Friday (hours may vary based on driving needs)

● Some overtime may be available.

● Salary commensurate with experience.

● School lunch provided daily on school days.
