The Pioneer Woman Mercantile is a destination bakery, deli, hotel, pizza restaurant, ice cream and candy shop, and general stores in Pawhuska, Oklahoma. As a Counter Worker your main focus is taking the guests’ order in an efficient and

friendly way, answering questions as you go. You will be responsible for ringing up orders, including any coffee, grab-and-go items, deli, and bakery items chosen as the guest journeys down the line. Your main goal is to ensure that every guest is looked after from start to finish and to ensure that they have everything they will need.

Summary of Key Responsibilities

• Greet Customers as they enter the building

• Operate and monitor continuous flow of Bakery line.

• Rotates among duties including, but not limited to; filling the pastry case, prep work, ringing up/cashing out customers, taking drink/pastry orders

• Visually inspect the product for quality and quantity.

• Reports all equipment issues to the supervisor or manager in a timely manner.

• Maintains a safe and clean environment

• Maintains excellent customer service and positive attitude

• Adheres to safety policies and procedures including proper food safety and sanitation.

• Ensures security of company assets.

Qualities & Abilities

Required Skills and Abilities

• Demonstrates basic math and counting skills.

• Requires repetitive motion with hands and arms.

• Requires frequent bending, stooping, and twisting.

• Requires frequent lifting of up to 25 lbs.

• Requires occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.

• Standing/Walking for 6-8 hours at a time

• Knowledge of sanitation regulations

Qualifications

• 2 Years in hospitality and prior experience on Point of Sale systems preferred

• Warm, friendly, and hospitable attitude

• Must have transportation
