Key Responsibilities:
- Maintenance and Resource Scheduling: Develop, maintain, and optimize the maintenance schedule to ensure all facilities operate at peak efficiency. Manage both scheduled maintenance and ad hoc requests, ensuring prompt and effective resolution. Oversee resource scheduling of the maintenance team to balance workload and prioritize tasks according to urgency and impact.
- Leadership and Team Management: Build and lead the facilities team with a focus on high standards, clear communication, and continuous improvement. Train, schedule, and supervise team members to ensure excellence in service delivery.
- Safety and Compliance: Champion safety initiatives, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and best practices. Conduct safety audits and oversee the implementation of corrective measures to mitigate risks.
- Project Management: Manage multiple facilities projects, utilizing MS Project or similar tools for tracking and documentation. Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to specifications. Vendor and Lease Management: Serve as the primary contact for negotiating with vendors and managing lease agreements. Maintain accurate records of lease terms, maintenance obligations, and vendor contracts.
- Facility Expansion and Relocation: Lead efforts in the establishment and relocation of centers, from assessing location suitability to coordinating with contractors and ensuring adherence to project timelines.
- Emergency Response: Maintain readiness for emergencies with a comprehensive response plan. Available for on-call duties, including nights and weekends, as required.
- Technology Utilization: Leverage technology for efficient management of tasks, project documentation, and team coordination. Proficiency in MS Office and project management software is a must.
Skills and Expertise Required:

Experience and Education:
- Professional Experience: Candidates must have at least 5 years of experience in maintenance or facilities management. This should include at least 3 years in a leadership role, with responsibilities for team management and multi-site operations. Preference will be given to those with experience in managing facilities across multiple states, demonstrating an ability to navigate diverse operational environments.
- Educational Background: High School diploma, GED, or equivalent required. A bachelor's degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications: Certification such as Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or Certified Facility Manager (CFM) is highly desirable.
- Technical Proficiency: Must be proficient in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) and MS Project or similar project management tools.
Additional Requirements:
- Valid Driver's License: Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Motor Vehicle Check: Must pass a motor vehicle check, confirming the ability to travel to various locations as needed for site visits, emergency response, and project oversight.
