Garden Center Sales Associate

The Plant Farm is seeking seasonal customer-service minded sales associates to join our team! This position is a good fit for individuals who enjoy an active and dynamic workplace. Expected workday tasks include stocking the retail store, maintaining plant and product quality of the storefront, and assisting customers. Additional tasks that one may be trained to perform include cashiering, product display and design, arrangements, and the like.

Requirements:

  • 18 years of age and older
  • Available to work a 40-hour workweek, Saturdays are a must. Our current schedule is Monday-Saturday 9:45-6:15 with a rotating day off during the week and off on Sundays.
  • Non-tobacco usage, due to contamination of Tobacco Mosaic Virus
  • Able to remain on one’s feet for the 8-hour shift
  • Able to lift, push, pull, and maintain 50lbs of weight, repeatedly

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.50 - $16.75 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
