The Plastic Surgery Center is seeking an experienced Multi-Site Regional Manager to be responsible for leading and managing a critical Region of a highly regarded multi-specialty Surgical practice. The Regional Manager takes ownership, managing multiple offices across the Northern region of New Jersey, New York, and Pennsylvania. The position requires a strategic and tactical manager who can assess and improve current procedures and streamline processes to drive superior efficiency across multiple offices.

Essential Functions:

  • Develops, plans, and budgets on a strategic, tactical and operational level for and with each practice. Creates strategies and operational plans to ensure year-over-year growth.

Identifies as the key liaison with the Surgeons in the Region.

  • Routinely reviews management reporting data to ensure operations are performing to targets and identifies ways to improve efficiency.
  • Initiates processes/improvements communicating with COO, Practice Manager, site providers and staff.
  • Works collaboratively with and supports the department managers to ensure timely and efficient onboarding of acquired practices, following up on action items and communicating findings to the appropriate team members.
  • Schedules and uses staff appropriately across practice locations for optimal coverage whenever possible (vacations, sick etc.). Establishes monthly schedules for providers and staff.
  • Tracks and evaluates on a regular basis scheduling, practice revenues, staff competencies and training. Primary talent evaluator for hiring and performance improvement plans of all office-based staff.
  • Communicates and coordinates with HR including payroll, orientation of staff and delivery of employee handbook and policies. Oversees payroll in accordance with company policy. Follows disciplinary process in accordance with HR policy and procedures. Performs annual staff performance evaluations. Looks for ways to improve patient, provider and staff engagement.
  • Holds regular staff meetings for designated practices.
  • Ensures quality measures are implemented and ongoing for assigned practices, track deficiencies and works collaboratively to ensure compliance.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field is required, with an emphasis in Healthcare Administration preferred. Appropriate experience may be substituted for educational requirements.
  • Clinical degree and clinical practice experience is highly preferred.
  • Practical emphasis related to healthcare operations, growth targets and a passion for Customer Service delivery.
  • Critical thinking and analytical skills a must.
  • 3-5 years of experience in multi-site, healthcare management is required (ASC’s, dialysis centers, infusion centers, surgical practice locations)
  • Effective working knowledge of healthcare financial management, medical practice accounting, third party reimbursement issues, patient flow and facilities management.
  • Microsoft Office Proficiency required.
